Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you browse our website or contact our team, and how to reach us about your choices.

Website policy version: October 7, 2026

Who this policy covers

AutoBay LLC ("we," "us," or "the dealership") provides this notice for information handled through this dealership website and inquiries connected to it. Dealer Space provides the underlying website and dealership software. Contact the dealership, not another dealer using Dealer Space, about your information.

Separate notices may apply to an in-person transaction, financial product, employment application, or third-party service. This general website policy does not replace a required financial privacy notice or a specific consent or authorization.

Information involved when you use the website

When you contact us, you can provide your name, email address, telephone number, message, vehicle of interest, and preferences. Inquiry records can also include the listing or page associated with your request, the time it was submitted, and any consent choices you made.

Hosting and security systems can process technical information needed to deliver the website, such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs. Embedded content, when loaded, can transmit technical information directly to its provider.

Please send only information needed for your request. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment card details, passwords, or sensitive financial documents through a general inquiry form or ordinary email.

Online finance applications

If you choose the designated finance application, it may ask for additional identity, address, employment, income, housing, and related application information. The fields, notices, and authorizations in that process govern the request. Financial information may be subject to separate restrictions and privacy notices, including those of a lender involved in the request.

Review those documents before submitting. This website policy is not a substitute for any notice required for financing or leasing and does not itself authorize a credit inquiry or disclosure to a lender.

How information is used

Information is used to route and answer inquiries, communicate about vehicles and appointments, maintain customer and consent records, operate and protect the website, troubleshoot errors, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. Dealership staff may retain an inquiry in the dealership’s customer relationship system for follow-up.

Where you choose to receive marketing communications, your contact information and preferences are used for those communications. An inquiry and a marketing opt-in are not the same thing; review the choices presented on the form you use.

When enabled by the dealership, software-assisted tools may help staff organize inquiries, summarize conversations, or draft responses. Relevant request or conversation information may be processed by the technology providers supporting those tools. Contact the dealership if you have questions about automated assistance or need to speak with a person.

Service providers and other disclosures

Information is handled by the dealership’s authorized staff and by technology providers supporting functions such as website hosting, data storage, dealership software, security, and delivery of email or text messages. Dealer Space is one such provider. The information needed depends on the service being performed.

Information may also be disclosed when you request or authorize a service, when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or as reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. If ownership or operation of the dealership changes, relevant records may be part of that transition, subject to applicable restrictions and notices.

Contact us for information about practices applicable to your request, including any disclosures to other businesses. This general notice is not permission for unrelated advertising or a waiver of any consent or opt-out right required by law.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may choose not to submit a form, although we may then be unable to respond to your request. To stop marketing texts, reply STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us. Use an email’s unsubscribe instructions or contact us to stop marketing emails. Necessary responses to a specific request and legally required communications are handled separately from marketing preferences.

Depending on your location and the laws applicable to the dealership and information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of information, or to opt out of certain uses or disclosures. Send a request using the contact details below and describe what you would like us to do. An authorized representative may contact us on your behalf where permitted.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate method. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or transaction reasons. If a request cannot be fulfilled, ask us for an explanation and information about any applicable appeal process. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator or consumer protection authority.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the type of information, the inquiry or relationship, operational needs, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion where available. Technical backups and records subject to legal obligations may be handled on a different retention schedule.

Website technology uses safeguards to limit unauthorized access, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care with the information you submit. Contact us promptly if you believe a message or request associated with this website is suspicious.

Children’s information

This website is intended for people researching vehicles and communicating with a dealership, not for children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information should contact us so the situation can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

Updates to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website or dealership practices change. The version date above identifies this text. Any additional notice or consent required for a material change will be addressed separately; posting an update does not remove existing legal rights.
